What is Exodus House?
Exodus House is a 20 bed state licensed community based residential facility and state certified Transitional Residential Facility for recovery male alcoholics and drug addicts. It opened in 1977 as a response to Washington County's need for a structured, professionally directed program to assist those persons in the transition between sobriety and re-entry into society.
Program Statement
Exodus House promotes a full range of services for the recovering chemically dependent client requiring a residential setting. Emphasis is placed on the homelike features of the facility with residents given much the same kind of responsibility for themselves and their environment as they would in their own home. Exodus House is a minimally supervised, non-medical, community based residential program. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, limited recreational activities, room, board, and limited transportation. Our facility also assists in educational or employment placement based on individual assessment.
